The founder, Amos Choo joined insurance industry in 2015 out of desire and ambition to make it in life. From an average family background in Seremban, he couldn’t speak a sentence of English properly and he was shy and timid with low self-esteem because of his ordinary personality and looks. One day, his tutor even made fun of him to call names like “fat choo”, means fat pig due to his body size.
Many thought he would do an average job and end up having an ordinary life and that’s it. He did not choose to follow what others think for him even his family, deep inside he had a “seed” planted to be a successful person one day.
With determination, Amos started to diet and exercise to lose weight starting age 14, and learnt English by attending classes and imitate to pronounce subtitle words while watching movies and dramas. Even joining insurance line had never crossed his mind, but as the opportunity came from Jobstreet, he grabbed it and the rest became a history.
Today, he is a strong believer of personal transformation. Anyone can transform with strong willpower and in the right environment. Regardless of gender, background and personality, we all can change with courage, commitment and consistency. Hence, the agency is named, Sense of Significance. To be the best of yourself and to inspire others to be their best, together we can make a great impact to our community.
Now, his personal mission is to inspire youth and elevate humanity, so that we can make our world better.
